Future Teacher Scholarship
This scholarship is offered by the Wall Township Education Association. It will be offered to a graduating senior at Wall High School who plans to pursue a career as a teacher.
- Graduating senior must be attending a four year college/university, and entering into a Teacher Education Program.
- Graduating senior should obtain a letter from a teacher at Wall High School, describing how they could see this senior becoming a teacher.
- Graduating senior must create an essay of approximately 500 words. The essay would answer the question, “Who is the teacher that has made the biggest impact on your life, and how that impact created the desire to go into the field of teaching?”
- Graduating senior must complete 1st semester with a 3.0 grade point average and show enrollment for the 2nd semester to collect scholarship. Transcript will be required, with proof of 2nd semester enrollment.
Applicant must state the college/university in which he or she plans to attend.

Members Scholarship
WTEA Scholarship for a Graduating Senior:
Graduating senior must create two essays. The essays will answer the questions,
“What has it meant to you, having had your parent be a member of the Wall Township Education Association?
(minimum of 500 words)
And
“What will you do, as a child of a WTEA member, at your place of higher education, that will show to all, you are part of a union family?” (minimum of 200 words)
- Parent must be a WTEA member
- Graduating senior can be from any accredited high school
- Graduating senior must be going on to a level of higher education
- Graduating senior must complete 1st semester of higher education with a 3.0 grade point average and show enrollment for 2nd semester to collect scholarship.
